Project Green Way
With its innovative products, Infineon makes the world easier, safer and greener. This is also reflected in our corporate culture and responsibility towards society and environment. As a leading company in Austria and as a contribution to the ecological traffic turn, Infineon has been running the company mobility management program “Green Way” since 2016. Sustainable ways to get to work are promoted, cycling is incentivized as well as the formation of car pools and – in cooperation with other stakeholders – the improvement of public transport. A “job ticket” enables employees to travel to work free of charge by public transport. E-cars can be used for business trips and the charging infrastructure at the site is constantly being expanded. With “Green Way” Infineon Austria implements action-oriented measures for more sustainable living environments. Raising awareness within the company helps to ensure that as many people as possible also become multipliers of alternative mobility solutions in their private surroundings. Infineon Austria is thus creating a new way of thinking in the region, from which the Villach living and tourism region will benefit in the long term.
