Data Scientist, Invenium Data Insights GmbH, Graz, Austria
Lisa Haller-Steinhäusler is a highly skilled Data Scientist with experience working with large data sets to gather relevant insights and solve advanced business problems. Experienced in statistical modelling, descriptive statistics, software development and report design.
In her daily job as a Data Scientist at Invenium Data Insights GmbH she works with Big Data to analyze human mobility. To do so, Invenium relies on mobile signalization data from the A1 network. This is purely technical, completely anonymized data that are generated during the communication of mobile devices with cell towers. She turns millions of data points into insights by using modern statistical analyses. She explores traffic relations between origins and destinations of visitors in the form of matrices and identifies common routes. Frequency measurements around locations of interest help to discover popular day times or seasonal differences and identify conversion rates. Additionally, she analyses demographics, nationalities, activities and transportation modes of the visitors.
Another important part of Lisas job is to continuously validate and monitor the results to guarantee quality standards. When detecting data inconsistencies, she digs deeper to find the source of the quality issue and suggests solutions to further develop and test Inveniums algorithms.
