Ksenia Harshina is a Masters Student at the program of Games Studies and Engineering at the University of Klagenfurt.
She received her bachelor in Software Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine. Currently she is working part time as a researcher in the field of swarm intelligence at Lakeside Labs in Klagenfurt as well as working on her thesis “Generating UAV Counter Measures using Machine Learning: A Game Based Approach”.
Additionally, she organized international educational events in the field of STEM and data science when pursuing her bachelor’s in Ukraine.

In this talk they will combine game development and data science and see how we can use one to improve the other – both from technical and humanities perspectives. Furthermore, they will talk about how to use data analytics to help your game stand out among countless other games based on their personal experiences with itch.io.
