Hilda Kosorus is AI Advisor at Crayon’s AI Centre of Excellence in Vienna and has been working in the field of Data Science for the past 9 years. Coming from the academic and research world after finishing her Ph.D. in computer science, she took on the challenge of laying the foundation of Data Science at Runtastic. She worked on a various customer-centric AI solutions, ranging from behavioural patterns to churn prediction and personalized targeting. Her strongest skills focus on bridging the gap between analytics and business, creating value from data and helping organizations become more data-driven.
Hilda has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Many applications of AI/ML, like NLP, computer vision or predictive analytics, have long passed the hype phase and have already reached maturity. Nevertheless, many organisations still struggle with adopting, implementing, deploying and, finally, integrating AI solutions into their daily business. This phenomenon is the result of multiple influencing factors that range from organisation to business and technologies. In this talk, I want to highlight the current challenges in productizing AI solutions and how you could potentially tackle them.
