At KAI GmbH, we are developing characterization techniques for materials in microelectronics applications. These analyses generate a wide variety of data (various text and binary file formats incl. images) which shall be stored in a FAIR way to enable automated processing. Furthermore, computer vision techniques shall be used to automatically extract information from images.In your new role you will:
conceptualize the materials science data storage and processing in a FAIR way (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reuse)
create the tools for accessing & processing our data
use computer vision techniques to extract information from images
conceptualize & implement the program interfaces towards an automated data processing workflow
document your results and share them within the team, with Infineon and with our project partners
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
a university degree (MSc or PhD) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telematics or similar
advanced programming skills in Java, Python and databases in Windows and Linux
experience with Linux, Docker, Openshift and knowledge representation
good German and English skills written and spoken
The employment is with KAI Kompetenzzentrum Automobil- und Industrieelektronik GmbH and is limited to three years.
