Database Architect (f/m/d)


We are looking for a Database Architect who will work closesly with cross-functional teams especially with data analysts, process consultants and software engineering to build a foundational data stack and powering business analytics. You will be responsible for creating a strategy with focus on data ownership within our company and help define the data architecture, data model, and pipelines to drive understanding of our company’s business.


Your Responsibilities

  • Design effective database solutions and models for AT&S
  • Develop architectural strategies for data modeling
  • Create and test physical data models for a variety of business data, applications, database structures and metadata tables
  • Support database administrators to create effective and secure methods for data backup and recovery
  • Review existing data architectures to determine overall effectiveness and compliance with original objectives


Your Profile

  • Graduate IT degree (MSc) and at least 5 years professional IT experience in this area
  • Deep logical and physical data modeling experience using the Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) methodology
  • Analytical thinking and hands-on problem solving skills as well as organizational talent
  • Intercultural awareness and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team spirit and high level cooperation skills

Our salary packages are competitive, take individual qualifications, and experience into consideration. In accordance with the Austrian collective labor agreement, we advise you that the minimum gross annual salary for this role is 70.000,- Euro.
