People sometimes think that information obtained from data is very abstract, very clear, and (almost) does not allow any interpretation. Anyone who works with data on a regular basis knows that the information obtained from it must be carefully uncovered, analyzed, and visualized in a further step. This talk focused on the expressiveness of visualizations in the context of architecture as well as on the interplay of image, graphics, text, and the art of asking the right questions.
Marion is a professor at the University College of Teacher Education (Graz, Austria). She has a PhD in architecture with a research focus on art and technology, as well as building culture.
